This is a five-lecture course on creating MEL programs which I teach at Gnomon School of Visual Effects in Hollywood, CA. These notes are primarily intended for use by students who attend the course, but I'm making them available for a wider audience by leaving these web pages up (almost) all the time.

If you are thinking of signing up for the course pl. note that you do need to know the basics of MEL - in other words, the focus of this class is to get you to develop small but self-contained and useful programs using prior knowledge of MEL from elsewhere. Eg. you might be interested in this Gnomon course as a prerequisite.
