Course summary

This is a five-lecture course on programming using Maya's MEL, followed by 5 more lectures on Maya Python (in two flavors).

And this is me.

Course goals

• provide you a solid programming foundation, one that will last you your lifetime
• help you see the utility of scripting in a graphics app such as Maya
• teach you enough MEL/Python to be able to write small scripts yourself, and to understand+extend other people's code
• make you realize that programming is great fun, extremely beneficial and that you too can do it :)
